BJD Movie vs Film

Before starting the novel BJD, I had previously watched the movie so the image of Renee Z, stuck pretty throuoghly in my mind. As I read the book i found that they left key scence out in the movie. Probaly for a more realistic effect, Although I do like the movie BJD i found I enjoyed reading the novel more (possibly b/c I enjoy reading). I enjoyed the dramatization of B's mom in the novel, how she ran away with her spanish lover and was smuggling money from her friends. It was hiliarious. None the less, I feel as though I enjoyed them both equally.

  1. I think I liked the book more too. A lot of Bridget's eccentricities came out more in the book. Also I liked the mother's story more in the book but I liked the ending of her story more in the movie. I agree though that both were good.
